20 weeks

It's been a bit since I last blogged but it's been busy busy! Richard and I have narrowed it down to two names. Just first names, no middle names yet. We both like each other's names, so we'll see who ends up "winning." I went last week to Baby's R Us with my mom to get a shower gift for a co-worker and was pretty much overwhelmed by all the things we need and decisions to make. As most of you know I am not a big pink fan so my current delima is to find bedding and "theme" for the nursery. It's doubly hard since we still aren't sure where this nursery is going be, here at our townhouse or hopefully a new house!! I am going to a huge consignment sale this weekend at the fairgrounds called kids exchange so hopefully we can find some pretty good stuff!

We have made it to the half way point! Monday marked 20 weeks! The time has flown by and its scary to think that in just that much time, she will be here. It's still pretty scary to think that Richard and I are going to be parents! And its scary to think about how much we still have to do and all the things we need. I know we will be as ready as can be when the time comes, it's just overwhelming when you stop and think about it.

Here are the weekly stats
How Far: 20 weeks 1day
Weight Gain: Last doctor's appointment was 9lbs total
Baby Weight: around 10 ounces
Maternity Clothes: Definitely pants and bottoms. Shirts and tops are still big
Stretch Marks: still none :)
Sleep: not so hot lately. I can't seem to get comfortable, I think this is due to the fact I usually sleep on my back, and my dr told me to limit time spent on my back, so I am trying the side thing and I usually wake up with some body part that has fallen asleep. Not mention the times I get up to pee
Best moments this week: All the baby showers I attended, and seeing all the neat things out there
Breakdowns: Quite a few actually. Richard was out of town last week so I was alone quite a few nights and my hormones just couldn't handle it
Movement: Jury is out. Maybe, but then maybe not. I really have no idea what I am feeling. A few times I have thought yes, but then not so sure. It's not the butterfly feeling people talk about, not quite sure how to describe it...so we'll say maybe...
Cravings: Still Taco bell or mexican oh and since all the showers I crave yellow or white fluffy cake, yummy cake
Labor signs: nope nada :)
Belly button: staying in where it should
What I miss: currently sleep and not letting things upset me
Looking forward to: knowing for sure that I have felt her move!
Milestones:She can hear sounds, and is measured from head to toe now and not crown to rump. Has started swallowing, and learning other digestive skills. She is now producing meconium. (basically prenatal poop)
