Last week was a busy week! Richard, myself, his sister April and his parents all went to Williamsburg VA to go to Busch Gardens last Friday. We actually went up Thursday night and spent the night. I had a good time, although I did miss riding all the roller coasters. I got to see the shows and just spend time with my in laws. It was amazingly hot and humid. It wasn't so much the heat as the humidity! By 5pm I was done and ready to go. Luckily storms were in area and everyone decided to leave, so I was able to rest! Who knows how long we would have stayed if there were no storms.
Saturday was my birthday and it was a relaxing one. I got to sleep in until 9:30! I remember when I wouldn't have considered 9:30 as sleeping in! Richard and I just hung out at home and rested. It was good to do especially after walking around BG all day the day before! Then Richard took me out to Angus Barn, they have the best food. We then went to JC Penny and Babies R Us and I got to get Richard to look at baby stuff. We've talked about things and looked at them online, but this was our first trip out together to actually see things in person. We ended the night watching a movie together on the couch. It was a great day and good birthday! Thanks to Richard for making it such a good day!
I misplaced my camera and couldn't find it for awhile but I found it last night! Now all I have to do is find the computer cord and I can start uploading some pictures. It's official, I definitely have a "baby bump"
Here are the weekly stats
How Far: 22 weeks
Weight Gain: I choose not to weigh myself in between the doctor's visits so I its still only 9 pounds
Baby Weight: about 1 pound!
Maternity Clothes: Moving more and more towards maternity all the way. Still have non-maternity shirts I can wear though
Stretch Marks: still none :)
Sleep: ok, still getting up to pee. I will have one or two nights of not being able to get comfortable but for the most part, sleep is going alright.
Best moments this week: Finally dragging Richard to walk around babies r us. It was his first time in the store, so we just looked and I pointed out a few things we were going need. He actually gave some great feedback and opinions. Not sure if that is where we'll register but at least I got him out and looking!
Breakdowns: definitely, even on my birthday...it was not the best afternoon but it turned out to be a great day..
Movement: As i said in my last post, we definitely have movement. She was moving up a storm today when I was late eating lunch...I think she was hungry!
Cravings: Mexican and fluffy cake!
Labor signs: nope nada :)
Belly button: staying in where it should
What I miss: having energy to do normal everyday things
Looking forward to: picking out/buying a crib and registering
Milestones: She is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath her gums. Her eyes have formed, but her irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment.
