Another week :)

Another week has passed. At times it seems so slow and yet so fast! Richard keeps saying less than 4 months to go and I was like what, only 4 months!! We have so much to do! This week has been pretty slow. After my doctors appointment, then Richard's grandma asking me how much weight I gained (which after I told her and that my doctor says is excellent, she replied "oh, really, well I guess if they say its okay" love her though!!) I sort of got a complex about my weight and lack of exercise. I have been exercising, walking. just not as often as I should. So I decided this was the week to get back into it. I did a cardio exercise yesterday, which when I wasn't pregnant was tiring but totally doable. Yesterday I did every excercise and kept moving but I wasn't anywhere close to keeping up! I was so tired that even after 9 hours of sleep I fell asleep for about an hour on the couch. I wasn't even laying down to take a nap, I sat down with every intention of doing work and then woke up an hour later... I can't definitely tell a difference being pregnant not to mention the extra pounds I am carrying. Today I got up and walked around our neighborhood for 40 minutes! I am so proud of myself for exercising two days in a row! I know that exercise will not only help keep me and baby healthy but it will help with labor and delivery! If I can just keep this up for the next 15 to 17 weeks, I think I will be in good shape, well as far as any 9 month pregnant women can be!

Here are the weekly stats
How Far: 23 weeks 2 days
Weight Gain: Well since I had my doctors appointment its officially 15 pounds which she says is excellent but I feel is way outrageous!!
Baby Weight: She is over 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound!
Maternity Clothes: Bottoms unless they have an elastic waist are all definitely maternity, shirts are still half and half
Stretch Marks: still none :)
Sleep: I had one rough night, but for the most part I have been so exhausted that I have slept great!
Best moments this week: Richard got to feel baby girl move! He tried once and said he couldn't feel anything. then Saturday night, she was moving up a storm and I was like if he can't feel this, he never will! But he did :)
Breakdowns: It's been a pretty good non-breakdown week :)
Movement: She definitely has a routine, usually right after lunch and late night are when she is most active right now!
Cravings: not really, just food in general and being hungry :)
Labor signs: nope nada :)
Belly button: staying in where it should
What I miss: not much this week
Looking forward to: having dinner with friends the next three weekends! And our beach vacation in September...i wish it was next week!!
Milestones: Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.

your weight gain is normal! please don't fret about it! if you are fretting about it now you are going to freak towards your last month or so of pregnancy because you can typically gain a pound a week. I am sure your doctor told you but anywhere from 30-35 pounds is normal weight gain for a pregnancy. It is amazing how much extra your body makes in fluid and blood and such. Weight gain is normal! Love you!

Yeah! You're doing great. And like eve said, don't worry about the weight gain, you doc knows what's best. my doc actually told me that the baby doesn't need you to gain weight for them to grow. They are like parasites and will leach off of you in order to grow sufficiently. The real reason for the weight gain is to produce breast milk rich in the fats and nutrients babies need! :)
