New House

So for some reason we thought that as long as we moved before Parker arrived, we would be okay! While it all turned out okay I do not recomend moving just one month before your due date and the holidays! The move itself was crazy! The day we were supposed to close, we didn't. The bank said they could close on time but they lied. We moved out of our house on Wednesday and in with the in laws, thinking we would close on Friday. Friday came and went and no closing. We asked the owners of the house we were buying if we could still move in, since we had a truck and all the help over the weekend. They agreed to let us move into the garage. So Friday night Richard picks up the U haul and we load up our stuff and make a trip to the new house. We unload in the garage. The Saturday am, Richard and all our helpers packed the truck and we made a few trips to unload into the garage. Finally on Wednesday Nov 4th we closed at 7:30am! Then we spent the rest of that week unload our garage into house! By the time we got everything out of the garage( well we actually still have a few boxes) it felt as if we had moved 3 times. Looking back I definitely would not want to do that again, but it has all worked out and we love our new house. I was lucky to have both my parents and Richards parents help to unpack, paint a few rooms and put together baby furniture. I was even able to decorate for Christmas, BEFORE Thanksgiving...just in case Ms. Parker decided to arrive early. Here are a few pictures of our new house :) We are still working on getting furniture for all the rooms, so what you see if our old comfy stuff that will one day be replaced...
