Well, I am one day away from being 17 weeks! Things around here have been busy busy. Richard has been slammed at work and has been working long hours at work and at home. I went with Melissa and Kelley to North Myrtle to surprise and celebrate Sherra's birthday! We left on Tuesday around noon and came back on Thursday! It was a great time and good to hang out and catch up with old friends. I miss you girls! Last weekend and this weekend have been about catching up on my missed work. Unfortunately I woke up Saturday morning with a bright red sore throat and my ears hurting! While the pain has eased in my ears and throat, my nose is either stuffed and I can't breathe or pouring. I am have been taking pregnancy approved meds but they just don't do the trick! I am praying this sickness is short lived!
That's all for this week, here are the weekly stats
How far: 16 weeks 6 days
Weight gain: I haven't weighed myself since my last dr's appt so we are sticking with 6 to 7 pounds
Baby weight: not sure but he/she has grown to the size of a jar of salsa :)
Maternity clothes: just a few pieces as of right now. I am getting low on the number of pants/bottoms I can wear. I'm still not really showing, although to me, my stomach is huge. To everyone else, it's still not out there yet. I am ready to look pregnant and not just fat!
Stretch marks: none so far :)
Sleep: Lately not so good, but thats due to more to the sick thing than the pregnancy thing. I am still getting up at least once a night to pee thought
Best moment this week: Getting to see my grills and have a day at the beach!
Movement: nope, nada, nothing yet
Cravings: Lately taco bell....
Labor signs: not even close to that yet :)
Breakdowns: I had one yesterday morning...I woke up sick and Richard asked how I was and how I slept and I just burst into tears and told him I was sick. I felt like I was 4 years old and just wanted my mommy. :(
Belly Button: still an innie :)
What I miss: Same as before, the good drugs that work!
Looking forward to: Fourth of July and my first trip to the Lake this summer :)
Milestones: Baby is almost 5 inches long and has fingernails and toenails; is covered with fine, downy hair called lanugo. this will mostly fall out by birth. Baby has begun to develop the all-important adipose tissue -- more affectionately known as baby fat and is hard at working transforming its skeleton from soft cartilage into solid bone

my belly button never became an outie it stayed and innie. I also hated the looking fat stage as appose to looking pregnant but once I started showing I really showed!
